Cars stuck in flood waters in Reading

Heavy rain from severe thunderstorms caused the Spring Street Subway and adjoining roads to flood Tuesday evening in Reading. On Spring Street, a vehicle had water almost up to the roof as the occupants were rescued by firefighters. Another vehicle became stuck in flood water nearby at Nicolls and Windsor Streets. The occupant walked away before firefighters arrived.
