High winds caused several trees to fall in Berks County Wednesday evening as severe thunderstorms moved across the region. Most notably, a large tree fell across Kutztown Road in Muhlenberg Township and multiple trees fell on Slater Road in Ontelaunee Township closing the road in several spots. In addition, the high winds caused the roof of the dugout at the Schuykill Valley High School to partially blow off.
