Heavy rain from passing storms caused flash flooding across Berks County Thursday evening. In Muhlenberg Township, vehicles on Route 12 Westbound just prior to North 5th Street Highway were forced to stop due to high water. Two vehicles were struck in the water. No injuries were initially reported.
