Berks Ballet Theatre has announced a spellbinding double feature this spring, offering audiences an unforgettable afternoon of artistry and storytelling. On Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., the ballet company will perform a vibrant interpretation of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons score, followed by Cinderella’s Ball, a magical presentation of the beloved fairytale’s second act—a perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend with family and friends.

The program opens with a vibrant reimagining of Antonio Vivaldi’s iconic Four Seasons. Artistic Director Nathan Bland’s innovative choreography breathes new life into this timeless masterpiece, capturing the essence of each season through dynamic movement and emotional depth. Expect a visual feast as BBT’s talented dancers bring spring’s renewal, summer’s intensity, autumn’s richness, and winter’s quiet beauty to life.

Following this performance is Cinderella’s Ball, a whimsical journey into one of the world’s most beloved stories. Audiences will step into the grandeur of the royal ball, where Cinderella makes her dazzling entrance, the stepsisters provide comic relief, and magic fills the air as the clock strikes midnight. This family-friendly production is brimming with humor, elegance, and enchanting moments that will captivate both children and adults.

BBT is proud to feature senior company member Kaitlyn Staskel in the title role of Cinderella. Known for her grace and artistry as the Sugar Plum Fairy in BBT’s The Nutcracker last season, Staskel brings warmth and charm to this iconic character. Fellow seniors Leah Cochran and Annabelle Lieb take on the delightfully mischievous roles of the Stepsisters, while guest artist Kfir Danieli joins as The Prince. Ethan Schweitzer-Gaslin will dazzle audiences with his lively portrayal of The Jester.

Adding to the magic of the day is Cinderella’s Tea Party, a pre-performance event from 12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m., designed especially for young guests and their families. This enchanting gathering includes themed activities, character meet-and-greets, and light refreshments. Guests are encouraged to don their finest royal attire for this special occasion.

“This ballet truly has something for everyone,” shares Artistic Director Nathan Bland. “From Vivaldi’s powerful rhythms to Cinderella’s playful charm, it’s a celebration of music, movement, and storytelling that will leave audiences inspired. We’re excited to bring these two contrasting yet complementary works to our community.”
