The Berks County Court of Common Pleas has announced the appointment of Catherine J. Nadirov, Esquire, as the new Deputy Court Administrator/Family Court Administrator for the 23rd Judicial District of Pennsylvania. Her appointment, effective April 14, was made by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania following a recommendation by Berks County President Judge M. Theresa Johnson.
Attorney Nadirov brings a diverse legal background to the role. She served for nine years as a Berks County Assistant District Attorney and most recently operated a general practice law firm in the City of Reading. In addition to her private practice, she was a court-appointed attorney handling both family and criminal matters and served as a Guardian Ad Litem for KidsPeace, a local nonprofit that supports children and families with behavioral and mental health services.
Nadirov holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Economics from Albright College and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
She succeeds Lisa Siciliano, who is retiring after a 35-year career with the County of Berks. Siciliano served as Deputy Court Administrator for 23 years and previously held roles as IV-D Counsel with Berks County Domestic Relations and in private practice specializing in family law.
