Man charged with murder in connection with neighbors death in Spring Township

On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at approximately 7:00 AM, officers from the Township of Spring Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 2100 block of Penn Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers entered the first-floor apartment at 2105 Penn Avenue and discovered the body of Gregory S. Crammer, a 55-year-old resident, who had been fatally shot.

During the initial investigation at the scene, officers located and apprehended Angel Adames, a 56-year-old resident of the second-floor apartment at 2105 Penn Avenue. Adames was taken into custody without incident.

A search warrant executed at the residence led to the seizure of firearms. Subsequently, Adames has been charged with first and third-degree homicide, burglary, and aggravated assault. The charges have been filed before Magisterial District Judge Ann Young, and Adames is being held without bail.
