Yom HaShoah Remembrance Ceremony, featuring Cindy Silverman Chronister, in partnership with 3G Philly, a collective of grandchildren of Holocaust survivors in the Delaware Valley seeking to honor our grandparents through education, advocacy, and peer support to uphold the pledge of “never again.” Cindy is the granddaughter of two Holocaust refugees, Karl and Matilde Reiser, who both escaped Nazi occupied Vienna. During the ceremony, local Holocaust survivors and their family members have been invited to join us for the program, which includes a candle lighting along with a name reading of victims of the Holocaust with ties to our local community.
