Local Police Say DUI Enforcement Will Be Countywide

Alert issued: Saturday, April 5 2025 - 10:46 PM

Last week, the Pennsylvania State Police in Hamburg announced increased DUI enforcement in northern Berks County, especially targeting upcoming weekends, with officers on the lookout for signs of drivers operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The North Central Regional DUI Enforcement Program has asked Berks Weekly share with the public that these efforts won’t be limited to the northern part of the county. Departments throughout southern Berks will also be increasing DUI enforcement as we move into spring.

The message from police across Berks: if you drive impaired, expect to be stopped—no matter where you are in the county.
