Reading Police and EMS are investigating a shooting that took place Monday afternoon in City Park. Initially described as a shooting on South 11th Street with a person shot multiple times. That person was transported to the hospital, condition unknown. It was also initially reported a second victim may have been injured and went to the hospital in a personal vehicle.
Police have several crime scenes taped off in City Park, one midpoint on the basketball courts, another in the parking lot of the basketball courts and one just up the street on Rose Garden Road.
