Melvin Ojeda was sentenced today to Life in Prison, followed by 10-26yrs, following his conviction last month of 1st Degree Murder, Burglary, Aggravated Assault and Possessing Instruments of Crime.
Melvin Ojeda was convicted by a jury today of 1st Degree Murder. In 2023, Ojeda broke into a home and fired 5 shots, wounding his ex-girlfriend and killing Richardson Rivera-Lugo. Case investigated by the Reading Police Department and tried by ADAs Raymond Baker & Adam McNaughton.
