Due to lack of precipitation over the last few months RAWA is issuing a Mandatory Conservation Notice for the City of Reading and the surrounding service areas. A Mandatory 10 to 15% water use restriction is requested at this time.
The following are prohibited: watering of lawns and outdoor areas; watering golf courses; washing vehicles, paved surfaces or other outdoor areas, filling or topping off pools or any act of wasting water. The solution to this situation is rainfall, which is not expected in the next 5 to 7 day. We will provide updates on the website, and telephone.
