Growing Season Ends for Northeast Pennsylvania

The National Weather Service has issued the following statement: Temperatures this morning dropped below freezing across most locations in northeastern Pennsylvania and northwestern New Jersey. As a result, the growing season has now ended for the following counties: Pennsylvania: Carbon, Monroe, Northampton, Lehigh, Berks, Upper Bucks and Western Montgomery. New Jersey: Sussex, Warren, Morris, Hunterdon and Somerset.
