A power outage is reportedly affecting parts of Wyomissing, Sinking Spring and Spring Township. Multiple traffic lights are reported to be out in several areas. Fire Police have been dispatched for traffic control in many areas.
Update: Power appears to be back on and steady throughout the area. Firefighters and utility workers have responded to the Columbia Court Playground in Sinking Spring for a pole fire on high tension lines. A brush fire has begun at the base of the pole spreading out as utility workers diagnose the issue. Firefighters are monitoring it so it doesn’t spread.
