Rescue crews were called to Riverfront Park Saturday afternoon in Reading for a water emergency in the Schuylkill River. Initially dispatched as a person in the water in distress. After an extensive search, divers located the victim roughly an hour later and the Coroner’s Office was requested to the scene. The incident is under investigation.
